Between Halloween and the start of the World Series at Dodger Stadium, this weekend is going to be bonkers. If you don’t have plans, perhaps you’ll consider going to one of my gigs this weekend. Olya Sonica Album Release Party @ Hotel Ziggy
To celebrate the release of debut album, Alchemy, Olya Sonica is playing live at Hotel Ziggy with The Dirty Shirts and Veronica Bianqui. The theme is R’n”R Grit & Glam, so I’ll be playing a set of rock and Britpop for the dance portion of the night. Think of artists along the lines of Rolling Stones, T. Rex, David Bowie, Suede, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys. There will tarot readings from Arlem Eniko and an I’m With the Band pop up shop. This is an all ages event and tickets are available on Dice. Party starts at 7 p.m.

Club Underground’s Halloween Party @ Grand Star Jazz Club
This Friday is Club Underground’s Halloween Party at Grand Star Jazz Club and, if you plan to go, get your tickets asap because it will sell out. Larry G., Jesse B., Malvada and I are all on the decks. Expect a mix of new wave, indie, darkwave and Britpop throughout the night and dress your best because there will be a costume contest as well. Dolce Vita @ Slipper Clutch
Dolce Vita is back! L.A. Industrial’s Italo disco party heads to Slipper Clutch on Saturday night with Mando Italo and I playing all night. Peep my set lists from previous Dolce Vita parties to get an idea of what you might here. Party starts at 9 p.m. and there’s no cover. This is a 21+ event.

Splash @ The Mermaid
On Sunday, I’ll be playing across genres for Splash, which is open format night at The Mermaid, from 8 p.m. until last call. What you hear will definitely depend on the crowd, but I’ll probably drop some spooky tunes here too. There’s no cover and it’s 21+.
